THE DAY OF THE DEAD OAXACA
The day of the dead is a very recognized tradition in Mexico, but this time we will talk about this same tradition in the state of Oaxaca, which is a state with great cultural wealth.

This tradition is about putting an offering, which in this case are the favorite food to relatives who have already died, so that their souls come and eat their favorite food and celebrate with the living this offering is made in the form of an altar where it is essential to put and occupy the following elements.
Candles
It is common to include one for each deceased,
Sometimes the candles are placed in the shape of a cross.

flowers
The marigold flower by its smell attracts the souls of the deceased to the offering. Many times the flowers are placed in the shape of a cross or forming a "path" to be followed by the souls.
